Give Your Dog the Freedom to Roam Safely!

Discover the ultimate secure environment for your beloved dog to run free! Our facility features 6ft high fencing, expertly dug into the ground to keep even the most determined escape artists safely contained.

Entry is via two pedestrian gates with a small dog handling area between them.

The car park is also fenced for added security when unloading your dogs.

A securely fenced pathway leads from the car park to the main dog wood and provides an attractive short walk through an avenue of tall poplar trees.

Discover the Perfect Playground for Your Dog!

The wood is a plantation of 70-year-old Norway Spruce.

About half of the area has fairly clear ground between the trees with stacks of logs and branches left for wildlife.  Ideal for playing ‘hide the ball’ or recall training.

The other half is in its natural state with undergrowth and fallen trees. Wood chip paths wind around the site to provide access.

As a natural environment, the ground can be muddy or uneven in places, so suitable footwear is advisable.

The wood provides a stimulating environment for dogs with varied terrain and smells of trees and wildlife that dogs so enjoy.  Splash pools sometimes gather which all adds to the fun.

Our dogs love the wood as there is always so much to investigate and endless sniffing to do! We hope your dogs will love it too.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of two acres of mature woodland all to yourself.

The tall trees offer shade from the sun and a degree of shelter on rainy days.

Take time out to de-stress and enjoy a walk in the wood with your dogs safe in the knowledge that they can run freely.

While they are busying themselves take a breather at one of our rustic seating areas and listen to the sounds of the birds such as sparrowhawk or song thrush.  You may even hear geese flying over or spot a buzzard.

The seating areas are located in peaceful dappled shade; lovely in the rain and perfect on a sunny day.
